My hometown is a small town in the countryside. It used to be quiet and simple, with few buildings and narrow roads. People lived a peaceful life, and there were not many cars on the road. However, in recent years, my hometown has changed a lot.

First of all, the environment has improved. In the past, there were many old houses and some factories that polluted the air. Now, the government has built new parks and planted more trees. The air is cleaner, and the river near my home is clearer than before.

Secondly, the transportation has become better. Before, people often walked or rode bicycles to go to school or work. Now, there are buses and even a new highway that connects our town to the city. It is much easier for people to travel now.

Thirdly, the lifestyle of the people has changed. In the past, most people worked in farming or small workshops. But now, many people have found jobs in new factories or started their own businesses. More children can go to school and get a good education.

Although my hometown has changed a lot, I still love it very much. I hope it will continue to develop, but also keep its peaceful and friendly atmosphere. I believe that with hard work and good planning, my hometown will become even better in the future.
