In a quiet village nestled between two hills, there lived an old man known for his wisdom. Every day, villagers would come to him with their problems, seeking guidance. One day, a young man arrived, looking troubled.
“Master,” he said, “I have everything I need—money, health, and a good job. But I feel empty inside. Why is that?”
The old man smiled gently and asked, “Have you ever stopped to look at the sky?”
The young man shook his head.
“Come with me,” the old man said, leading him to the top of the hill. There, they sat in silence as the sun began to set. The sky turned golden, and the clouds danced like whispers in the wind.
“Do you see that?” the old man asked.
The young man nodded.
“Sometimes, we are so busy chasing what we think we need that we forget to appreciate what already surrounds us. Happiness isn’t found in having more—it’s found in seeing more.”
The young man looked at the sky, then at the old man, and smiled for the first time that day.
